The autobiographical book LA GENTE NORMALE NON VA IN GIRO ARMATA (Not Born for War) by writer and soldier Artem Chapeye will be published in Italian translation by Alessandro Aquilli as part of a joint collaboration between the publishing house Iperborea and the publication Il Post under the Altrecose project. As the organisers explain, the initiative is dedicated to books that describe and interpret global events.
Chapeye’s book recounts his experience of joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine and may be of particular interest to Italian readers, as the author holds left-wing views and identifies himself as a pacifist who was nevertheless compelled to take up arms in defence of his family and country.
