The Special Operations Forces (SOF) have announced the destruction of the railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal. This was stated in a post on Threads.
“Sorry, but we have an official urgent update: The railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal in Crimea no longer exists —SOF! The first one’s gone. Shall we show you?” the post reads.
The information was also confirmed by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council.
“The railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal has been destroyed. Thank you to the Special Operations Forces and all the Joint Forces soldiers,” he wrote.
The Special Operations Forces subsequently published a video.
“This was a strategic military and logistical artery for the occupiers. The facility formed part of a transport corridor used to move cargo, resources and military supplies in two key directions: from the territory of the Russian Federation via Crimea to support the troop grouping in the southern sector, and within the peninsula to maintain the functioning of Crimea’s military infrastructure,” the military said.
