A coordinated spread of fakes targeting Ukrainian citizens has been recorded in the Polish segment of TikTok.
This was reported by the Centre for Countering Disinformation.
Malicious actors are widely circulating false claims that Ukrainians allegedly have not been paying Polish companies for fuel since 2025, are committing numerous serious crimes, and are even preparing drone attacks on Polish territory.
According to the Centre, this large-scale campaign aims to provoke interethnic hostility, inflame conflicts between Ukrainians and Poles, and destabilize the country’s internal situation.
The CCD emphasized that organizing such disinformation operations fully aligns with Russia’s interests, as it regularly uses similar manipulations to undermine support for Ukraine abroad.
- Recently, an anti-Ukrainian campaign has intensified due to Polish politicians preparing for elections.
- As a result, numerous attacks on citizens of our country are being recorded in the neighboring state. For example, on August 14 it became known that in Poznań two women attacked two men, believing them to be Ukrainians. Video of the incident is being shared on social media. Police confirmed that they are checking the circumstances of the event.
