Russian forces struck Stryy in the Lviv Region. Several impacts were recorded in the community, with no casualties.
This was reported by the Stryy City Council.
An apartment block near the bypass road was damaged. Impacts were also recorded on outbuildings and residential buildings near the railway station, as well as on a school outbuilding in the Novyy Svit area.
After the attack, the air-raid alert in Stryy was called off. At the same time, local residents were urged to remain attentive to air-raid warning signals.
A commission dealing with the aftermath of the strikes has begun its work.
- From the night of 13 September, the Russians has been carrying out a large-scale attack on western Ukraine using Shahed-type strike UAVs. Russian drones have been spotted in Khmelnytskyy, Ternopil, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk Regions.
- In the Khmelnytskyy Region, falling debris from an enemy drone sparked a fire on the premises of a business.
- In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, one person is reported injured as a result of the Russian attack.
