Units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces have received more than a million drones and other equipment via the digital marketplace DOT-Chain Defence since the start of 2026. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence.
As of September, the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Procurement Agency DOT has delivered 1,001,782 items worth UAH 71.1bn through DOT-Chain Defence, including:
- 3,608 ground robotic systems (GRS) – worth UAH 2.573bn;
- 15,270 electronic warfare (EW) systems – worth UAH 1.4bn.
The Ministry of Defence added that DOT-Chain Defence has become an important tool for the military, enabling them to obtain equipment that is as closely aligned as possible with the frontline’s real needs. At present, the platform lists more than 1,200 weapons and equipment items from 300 Ukrainian manufacturers. The average time from placing an in-stock order to the equipment being received directly by service personnel is 8 days.
“Units choose for themselves what they need. The state takes care of the money and the bureaucracy. DOT-Chain Defence is an important component of supplying the armed forces, and we are developing it as well. We are seeing positive momentum: from a few items to more than 1,000 weapons positions. We continue working to expand capabilities so the platform can be even more useful for the military. In particular, we have already added ammunition and a drone builder. More to come,” said Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Mstyslav Banik.

It is worth noting that in July the Ministry of Defence reported that over the platform’s first year of operation — launched in test mode in September 2025 — the Defence Forces received more than 1.2 million drones and other equipment worth UAH 69.2bn.
In July, the “drone builder” function went live on DOT-Chain Defence.
