On 21 September, Russian troops attacked settlements in the Kherson Region with artillery and drones. As a result of the shelling, three civilians were injured.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, as of 17:30 on 21 September, three people had been injured as a result of Russian shelling.
Those injured include a resident of Urozhayne and two residents of Kherson. They sustained injuries in attacks by Russian forces using drones.
The shelling also damaged private homes and apartment buildings. A church, hospital premises, an administrative building, and service vehicles, freight transport and passenger cars were also damaged.
In response to the Russian shelling, prosecutors in the Kherson Region have opened a pre-trial investigation on suspicion of war crimes under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to record the consequences of the attacks and document war crimes committed by Russia’s armed formations.
