During the night and morning of 22 September, Russia launched another massive drone and missile attack on Ukrainian cities. Thirteen regions, as well as Kyiv, came under attack.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyy said this on Telegram.
Russian forces deliberately targeted businesses, farms, warehouses, railway and energy infrastructure, as well as residential buildings.
Four people were killed and six others injured in a missile strike on Dnipro. A rescue operation is ongoing at the site. Serious damage was also reported in Kryvyy Rih and Pavlohrad.
In Poltava, Vinnytsya and Zhytomyr regions, Russian strikes damaged energy and railway infrastructure. Several electrical substations in different regions came under attack overnight.
In Kyiv, residential buildings were damaged in the Russian attack. Five people were injured. All necessary services are working at the sites.

Overnight on 22 September, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with missiles of various types and drones, the Air Force reported. Air defence neutralised 186 targets. The main areas targeted were Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions.

Missile and strike UAV hits were recorded at 22 locations, while falling debris was reported at four locations.
