The Russian army attacked Kyiv with drones overnight and on the morning of 22 September. As of 07:45, three people were reported injured according to the mayor, and four according to the military administration and the State Emergency Service.
Two people had to be taken to hospital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Damage has been recorded in three districts.
Overnight, Russians attacked the Dniprovskyi and Darnytskyi districts. In the former, debris fell onto a five-storey building, the Kyiv City Military Administration said.
“The first floor was damaged and a fire broke out in the basement,” the statement said.
Klitschko added that residents were evacuated from the 1st to the 5th floors of the building.
In the Darnytskyi district, debris fell on the grounds of a private home. In the morning, debris also fell in the Holosiivskyi district.
“On the morning of 22 September, as a result of another strike, a fire broke out involving pallets of ceramic tiles in an open area. Firefighters extinguished it over an approximate area of 100 sq m,” the State Emergency Service said.
