During the night of 22 September, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with missiles of various types and drones. Air defence neutralised 186 targets. The main areas targeted were Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions.
The Air Force said this in a report.
Starting at 18:00 on 21 September and throughout the night, Russian forces attacked with:

Oniks anti-ship missiles from Russia’s Rostov Region;

Iskander-M/Kinzhal/S-400/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Russia’s Kursk, Rostov and Voronezh regions;

four sea-launched Kalibr cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea;
-
eight Banderol/Dan-T missiles from the airspace over Russia’s Belgorod Region;
-
212 Shahed-type attack UAVs, including jet-powered ones, and Parodiya decoy drones from the following areas: Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia; occupied Donetsk; and Hvardiiske and Chauda in occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defence had shot down or suppressed 186 targets:

eight Banderol/Dan-T missiles;
-
177 Shahed-type UAVs, Gerbera drones and drones of other types.
Missile and attack UAV strikes were recorded at 22 locations, while debris fell at four locations.
The attack is ongoing, with Russian UAVs still present in Ukrainian airspace.
