The government has allocated more than UAH 157m from the state budget’s reserve fund to restore and protect energy facilities in the Sumy and Kherson regions.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyy.
UAH 107m will be allocated to restore an energy facility in the Sumy Region, on which heat supply for nearly 160,000 households depends.
A further UAH 50m has been earmarked for the Kherson Region. It will be used to provide additional protection for eight energy facilities. Engineering structures and anti-drone protection for critical equipment will be installed there.
"With limited financial resources, the government is directing funds to the most critical needs, especially in frontline regions," Koretskyy noted.
- The government allocated UAH 150m to restore 11 apartment blocks in the Zaporizhzhya region that were damaged as a result of Russian attacks.
