Fighters from the 40th Separate Marine Brigade carried out a successful operation dubbed “Audit” to identify and clear enemy forces in Donbas, liberating an area of 5 sq km.
As the brigade press service reported, while driving the occupiers out of their shelters, the servicemen captured two Russians and eliminated the rest of the enemy personnel they found.
The advance and infiltration of enemy groups in this section of the Pokrovsk direction was halted through the joint efforts of the separate sniper company, the separate reconnaissance company and the 1st Marine Battalion of the 40th Separate Marine Brigade.
