The Russian Ministry of Defence’s statement claiming the capture of the settlement of Mariine in Sumy Region is untrue and is yet another fake.
This was reported on its Facebook page by the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade “Magura”.
“The village is under the full control of the Ukrainian Defence Forces. The soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade are holding their positions steadfastly and successfully carrying out all combat missions,” the military stressed.
- Earlier, the occupiers spread another fake about the occupation of Sviatohirsk in Donetsk Region. At the time, Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi refuted the information by recording a video address from the city centre.
