Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has codified the Bebradron strike UAV made by BlueBird Tech. The company reported this in a press release.
BlueBird Tech noted that codification by the Ministry of Defence means the Bebradron has completed all official procedures and has been entered into the supply system of Ukraine’s Defence Forces. The state will be able to purchase it using budget funds.
The Bebradron is a fixed-wing tactical UAV. It was developed in Ukraine to carry out missions at medium distances. According to the company, the drone has a tactical range of up to 45 km, an endurance of at least 30 minutes, reaches a speed of 150 km/h, and can carry up to 7.5 kg of payload. The Bebradron is launched from a compact pneumatic catapult manufactured by BlueBird Tech, is controlled by an operator, and transmits video and telemetry in real time.
Overall, since the beginning of 2026, the Ministry of Defence has codified and approved 650 unmanned aerial systems for use by Ukraine’s Defence Forces. Of these, 32 are middle-strike attack UAVs.
