In Kherson’s Dniprovskyi district, two local residents were injured on 1 November after triggering mines. Both men were taken to hospital.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

At around 11:15, a 67-year-old Kherson resident stepped on an explosive device. As a result of the detonation, he sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his arms and legs. Medics are carrying out examinations and providing him with the necessary care.

At about 12:15, another man was injured after triggering a mine – a 60-year-old local resident. He sustained blast injuries and a leg wound. He was also hospitalised.

Residents are being urged to follow mine-safety rules: do not approach suspicious objects, do not touch them, and call 101 or 102.
