Moldova’s Ministry of Defence has reported two incidents involving balloons breaching the country’s airspace. One was spotted in Drochia District, while the other crossed the state border from Ukraine in Soroca District.
This was reported by the outlet Newsmaker.
The first incident was recorded at 09:15 near the village of Moshani in Drochia District. At 09:22, the balloon left Moldova’s airspace near the village of Yelyzavetivka.
The second object was detected at 10:35. It crossed the state border from Vinnytsia Region heading towards the village of Tryfautsi in Soroca District. A minute later, the balloon left the country’s airspace near the village of Ruslanivka.
Moldova’s Ministry of Defence noted that the Air Operations Centre continues to monitor the situation in the country’s airspace.
