The Agrarian Policy Ministry has sent law-enforcement agencies 166 reports on violations uncovered at enterprises subordinate to it, its head Oleksiy Pavlenko has said in an interview with Sonya Koshkina.
"You know that we have found violations worth 12bn hryvnyas [470m dollars] committed by our predecessors at three large companies - the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine, Ukrspyrt and Ahrofond - alone. As a result, there are no ships (with grain - ed. note), or grain, or money," he said. He specified that the inspection dates back to late 2012.
Investigation is under way and "many of the accused are wanted and on the run", he said.
He did not specify though if his predecessor Ihor Shvayka was involved.
