The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed the head of the State Innovation Financial and Credit Institution, Arsen Issakyan, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced on 24 February.
The National Anticorruption Bureau detained Isaakyan on suspicion of embezzling 14m hryvnyas (0.51m dollars).
The same day he was arrested for 60 days and granted bail of 10,000 minimum wages (13.78m hryvnyas).
The State Innovation Financial and Credit Institution provides financial support for businesses within the framework of state innovation policy.
