Three Ukrainian troops reported killed in east
Pro-Russian militants tried to storm the antiterrorist operation (ATO) positions in Krasnohorivka.
Over the past 24 hours, three Ukrainian servicemen have been killed and one wounded in the ATO area in Donbas, a spokesperson of the presidential administration for the ATO, Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, has said at a briefing.
"One serviceman was fatally wounded during a fire attack on the positions near Talakivka. Two defenders were killed by an enemy landmine near the village of Luhanske, Bahmut District of Donetsk Region. One more serviceman was wounded during the same incident near Luhanske," Motuzyanyk said.
In his words, the militants also took casualties. The heaviest losses were incurred by the so-called 100th detached motorized rifle brigade of the separatist Donetsk people's republic as a result of a failed attack on the ATO positions near Krasnohorivka.
Earlier, the Luhansk military-civil administration reported one serviceman dead and two more wounded as a result of a fire attack on Popasna District.
