The ATO Headquarters press center on 21 July reported 70 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbas over the past day. The most intensive shelling was recorded in the Donetsk sector.
"Ukrainian positions in Avdiyivka came under 122mm artillery fire, banned under the Minsk agreements. The enemy also used 120mm and 82mm mortars to shell Novhorodske, Zaitseve and Avdiyivka.
82mm mortars shelled the position of ATO troops in Mayorske and Troitske. The Russia-backed militants used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns to shell Ukrainian strongholds in Avdiyivka, Novhorodske, Zaitseve and Luhanske," ATO press center said in a release.
In the Mariupol sector, the terrorists from 120mm mortars shelled ATO positions in Vodiane, Shyrokyne, and Krasnohorivka.
