Three killed by blast at defence company's test station

According to preliminary reports, an explosion happened when ammunition brought in for disposal was unloaded.

Three people were killed and two wounded by an explosion at the test station of one of the enterprises of the state-owned defence industry company Ukroboronprom in Sumy Region on 28 July, the press service of the military prosecutor's office of the Central Region has said.

"An explosion took place on the territory of test station No 2 of the State Research Institute of Chemicals of the state-owned company Ukroboronprom in Krolevets District of Sumy Region at about 0430 p.m. on 28 July. As a result, three people got killed and two sustained bodily injuries," the statement reads.
