Over the past 24 hours, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, another six were wounded in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone in eastern Ukraine, said Col. Andriy Lysenko, the speaker of presidential administration on ATO.
"Unfortunately, one serviceman was killed and another six were wounded in combat," Lysenko told a briefing on 1 August.
He said Ukrainian soldier was killed in the village of Opytne by gunfire.
