On Sunday, February 19, one Ukrainian soldier was killed and another was wounded in combat in Donbas amid 62 militant attacks, the ATO headquarters reported on 20 February.
In the Mariupol sector, the Russia-backed separatists pounded Hnutove, Novotroitske, Lebedynske and Zaitsevo with the mortars of various calibres. The enemy fired rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns at Hnutove, Pavlopil, Hranitne, Vodyne. Ukrainian positions in the area of Shyrokyne were under fire of an IFV of the opposite side, while Vodyane was shelled by antitank missile systems
An enemy sniper was active in the vicinity of Avdiyivka.
In the Donetsk sector, Troyitske, Avdiyivka, Zaytseve, Opytne, Kamyanka, Luhanske and Novhorodske were shelled with of 120- and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.
In the Luhansk sector, militants repeatedly fired grenade launchers and small arms at Ukrainian positions in the area of Valuyske.
On Saturday, 18 February, one ATO soldier was reported killed and nine were wounded in Donbas.
