Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadiya Savchenko admitted that has visited Donetsk in bypass of official entry and exit checkpoint.
"The top people in the SBU know this, but if someone cares, I [crossed the borderline] via "goat paths" that are used by SBU-controlled smugglers," Savchenko told reporters on 28 February.
The lawmaker said her visit to Donetsk has not bent any rules.
On 24 February, Savchenko and Ruban visited a penal colony in the occupied Makeyevka, which Ukrainian prisoners of war are contained.
Later, Savchenko explained that she has knowingly risked her life to free the prisoners and asked for public support.
