Repair teams have restored the power line to Avdiyivka, the head of the Donetsk regional military-civil administration, Pavlo Zhebrivskyy, has said on Facebook.
"Avdiyivka back on stream! Repair engineers restored the power line. However, during the repairs they detected several minor damages to the cable. If there a ceasefire is ensured tomorrow, they will deal with these damages," he said.
The high-voltage power line was damaged by shelling on 11 March, leaving the town without electricity. The Donetsk water filtering station had to stop too.
Repairs teams could not start their work in the absence of ceasefire guarantees.
