Four contractors were killed by an explosion at the Zaporizhzhya coking plant on 16 March.
The company said they were using gas and electric welders on the roof of one of the facilities when gas accumulated in a canister exploded.
"Three were killed on the spot, another one was rushed to an emergency ward where he succumbed to grave wounds," the statement reads.
The company set up a commission to investigate the incident.
