The government at a meeting on Wednesday, 5 April approved a package of bills on health system reform, the key of which is the draft law on state financial guarantees for the provision of medical services and medicines. A working group will finalize the document within three days before the submission to the parliament.Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said the working group including lawmakers will ensure a "top-quality document" and forward its further adoption.
The key bill on state financial guarantees in the health care system regarding the provision of medical services and medicines envisages introduction of a guaranteed package of medical services, fixed payment for a specific service, the transition to international clinical protocols, and the return of pediatrics to the primary level.
