Pro-Russian militants in Luhansk and Donetsk regions have launched 27 shooting attacks against the positions of the Ukrainian army in Donbas since the beginning of 7 May, the press centre of the antiterrorist operation (ATO) said in its evening update.
In the Donetsk sector, they fired on Troyitske (122-mm artillery, infantry fighting vehicle guns, 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns), Verkhnyotoretske (82-mm mortars, machine guns), Opytne (82-mm mortars), Luhanske (infantry fighting vehicle guns, 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns), Avdiyivka (82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns), Zaytseve (grenade launchers, machine guns), Nevelske (ZU-23-2, automatic grenade launchers).
In the maritime (Mariupol) sector, they fired on Vodyane (antitank missile systems, 82-mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle guns, grenade launchers, machine guns), Krasnohorivka (82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns), Shyrokyne (infantry fighting vehicle guns), Pavlopil (APC guns), Novoselivka Druha (machine guns), Hnutove (small arms).
In the Luhansk sector, they targeted the ATO forces' positions near Krymske and Novozvanivka (120-mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns).
Five ATO troops were wounded in Donbas on 6 May.
