One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and one wounded on 21 July after hitting an explosive device in Mayorsk, Donetsk Region, the Defence Ministry's spokesperson for the antiterrorist operation (ATO) has said at a briefing. One more serviceman was wounded in Novhorodske, Donetsk Region as a result of a firing attack by pro-Russian militants.
The ATO HQ registered 11 ceasefire violations, it said in its morning update.
At around 9 p.m. Kyiv time, militants fired with grenade launchers and heavy machine guns on Maryinka, wounding four civilians, including two children, three and nine years old.
Since 17 July, Ukraine lost 12 servicemen in Donbas: two on 18 July, four on 19 July and five on 20 July.
