In the first half of 2017, construction volumes soared by almost a quarter compared to the same period last year, Ukrainian government said in a facebook release on Monday, 24 July.
Overall, Ukrainian сompanies carried out construction works worth 36bn hryvnya, raising construction products index to 124.6% over the same period last year. Housing construction grew 16.5%, non-housing - by 27.3%.
In May, the law improving licensing procedures in construction came into force.
