The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) conducts searches in the office and home of Odesa Mayor Henadiy Trukhanov, the local publication Dumskaya reported on Monday, 23 October.
According to the publication, investigative activities are held in the framework of criminal proceedings related to the dubious purchase of the former plant Krayan on Kosivska street by the city hall.
The object for the placement of the city hall offices was acquired for 185 mn hryvnya from a seller who previously bought it for 11.5 million.
In March, NABU searched the mayoralty of Odesa within the same case.
