Ukrainian parliament speaker Andriy Parubiy has urged the USA to supply lethal arms to Ukraine and strengthen sanctions against Russia.
"At the meeting with Kurt Volker in the Supreme Council, I called on the USA to supply Ukraine with lethal arms and step up sanctions against Putin's Russia," he tweeted.
He also thanked Volker for the US support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
