A well-known member of the Kyiv-2 volunteer battalion, Amina Okuyeva, has been killed and her husband Adam Osmayev was wounded when their car was attacked 20 km from Kyiv on 30 October.
"Her car was shot at from a bush at a railway crossing near Hlevakha, Kyiv Region. As a result, Amina succumbed to wounds. Adam Osmayev was wounded but he will survive," an aide to the interior minister, MP Anton Herashchenko, has said on Facebook.
On 1 June, a hired killer shot at Asmayev in Kyiv. Despite the sustained wounds, Asmayev survived. Okuyeva returned fire and killed the hitman.
