Over the past day, Russia-backed militants 17 times violated the ceasefire in the area of the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and two was wounded in combat, the press center of ATO reported in Facebook rtelease on Thursday, 2 November. In the evening, militants four times shelled the ATO positions in the area of the village of Krymske, using the entire range of infantry weapons and 82-mm mortars. ATO troops symmetrically returned fire. In the crossfire, one Ukrainian defender was wounded at around 11 pm. In addition, the separatists released eight 120-mm mortar shells at the outskirts of Troyitsky.
In the coastal sector, terrorists for about an hour in the evening fired anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms at the strong points of Ukrainian army at Stara Hnativka. One soldier of the National Guard was killed in a mine blast, and another was seriously wounded.
In the Donetsk sector, Avdiyivka industrial zone remained the hottest spot. The militants for several hours shelled the ATO positions in Luhanske and Mayorske areas.
