One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and one wounded as a result of eight shooting attacks by the Russian-occupying troops in Donbas on 12 February, the antiterrorist operation (ATO) HQ press centre said in its evening update on Facebook.
In the Luhansk sector, militants were especially active near Novoluhanske, Svitlodarsk and Zaytseve, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. They made several shots from a machine gun near Novhorodske. They used grenade launchers of various types to target the ATO positions near Katerynivka and 82-mm mortars near Popasna.
Shooting attacks at the positions near Krymske were especially heavy, with the militants using 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.
There were nine targeted attacks against the ATO positions on 11 February. No-one was hurt.
