The deputy prosecutor-general and head of the Special Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office, Nazar Kholodnytskyy, may resign for health reasons, the Ukrainian News agency has reported quoting a source.
According to the source, Kholodnytskyy is ready to tender his resignation next week (26-30 March).
Until 23 March, Kholodnytskyy is on a business trip to Brussels (Belgium).
Allegedly, Kholodnytskyy is going to cite health problems whereas, according to the source, he is under pressure to take this step.
No comments from Kholodnytskyy have been available. The Special Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office considers this information to be "fake".
In November 2017, Kholodnytskyy was admitted to hospital on suspicion of a heart attack, however the diagnosis did not confirm. Doctors concluded that he was too tired of work.
