Ukrainian mobile operators are starting to offer 4G Internet access as of 30 March, President Petro Poroshenko has said on Facebook. “The fourth-generation communication is available in Ukraine as of today! Mobile communication operators are launching 4G in more than 20 towns of Ukraine! I congratulate Ukrainians on 4G!” he said.
The lifecell mobile network operator said on Facebook it was the first to offer the service.
“We were the first to launch 4,5G (LTE Advanced Pro) in the biggest number of regional centres in Ukraine,” the company said
