On 15 April, the Russian occupying forces handed the body of a Ukrainian solder over to the antiterrorist operation (ATO) troops, the ATO HQ press centre has said on Facebook.

It added that he went missing during a combat assignment on the line of contact on 8 April.

Thanks to the efforts of the Evacuation-200 search group, the body was delivered for identification and forensic examination.

According to the morning update, pro-Russian militants opened fire against the Ukrainian army on 52 occasions on 14 April, wounding three Ukrainian soldiers.

In both Donetsk and Luhansk sectors, the militants used 122-mm artillery, 82-mm mortars, grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicle guns, heavy machine guns and small arms.
