Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed and two wounded in combat on 6 June, the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ has said.

The situation in the JFO area remained difficult but controllable, with engagements taking place in certain areas, predominantly with the use of small arms only.

In the dark hours, the Russian occupying troops were active near Krymske, Novozvanivka, Opytne, Maryinka, Vodyane and Shyrokyne. The enemy violated the ceasefire 25 times, including by using mortars on two occasions.

The Ukrainian army gave adequate response, the JFO HQ said.

According to intelligence, five occupiers were killed and three wounded.

In the early hours of 7 June, there were signs of an escalation in Luhansk Region as the enemy opened fire with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars near Krymske and Novotoshkivske five times.
