A bomb expert from the State Emergencies Service was killed clearing an arms cache near the village of Pisky in Donetsk Region on the evening of 16 February, National Police chief Serhiy Knyazev has said.
Three police officers received shrapnel wounds.
First aid was provided on the spot. A plane was sent to pick up the wounded.
