The official website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has come under a hacking attack and is now operating in a limited mode, the bank has said.
"The National Bank was under an external DDoS attack today. Therefore the official website is temporarily operating in a limited mode," it explained.
The critically important e-infrastructure of the bank is operating as normal. This includes the system of electronic payments, email and internal computer network.
Works to resume its full-fledged operation are underway.
The bank is temporarily posting exchange rates on its official page on Facebook.
