Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Olena Zerkal has accepted the credentials of new German ambassador Anka Feldhusen.
Zerkal noted Berlin's important role in preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, counteraction to Russian aggression, and the implementation of reforms.
Zerkal wished Feldhusen success and expressed confidence that her previous diplomatic experience in Ukraine would help her make her work effective. Feldhusen was the deputy ambassador of Germany to Ukraine from 2010 to July 2015.
Ernst Reichel, who had headed the embassy for three years, completed his mission on 18 July.
