Following the announcement by the World Health Organisation (WHO) of a state of emergency of international importance in the field of public healthcare due to the global outbreak of a new coronavirus, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has tasked the Cabinet of Ministers to develop a national set of measures to prevent the spread of the 2019-nCoV coronavirus.
An infection prevention task force will become an ad hoc group at the level of the Cabinet of Ministers.
No cases of infection have been reported in Ukraine and there are no grounds for any emergency measures, the president's office noted.
All the necessary resources are involved, it said, and the government has full information on the situation.
