The Foreign Ministry has advised Ukrainians against visiting Iran due to the outbreak of the COVID-2019 coronavirus and the first lethal cases.

Ukrainians currently staying in Iran are advised to heed local authorities’ advice, including on restrictions on travel within the country, stay vigilant and take extra measures to ensure their safety, in particular by avoiding crowded places.

The Foreign Ministry also asked Ukrainians to report their whereabouts and contacts to the embassy in Iran.

The Foreign Ministry also advised Ukrainians against visiting Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna and Piedmont, where the risk of coronavirus infection is the highest.
