A plane of the SkyUp airline evacuating Ukrainians from China’s Wuhan, the hotbed of the COVID-19 coronavirus, Ukraine’s embassy in China has said.
The plane took off at 00.30 a.m. local time.
It is expected to arrive in Ukraine at 8 a.m. It will make a technical stop in Almaty for refuel and deliver two Kazakh citizens.
The plane will bring 48 Ukrainian citizens and 27 foreigners: eight citizens of Argentina, five citizens the Dominican Republic, five Ecuadorans, four Salvadorans, 2 Costa Ricans, one citizen from Israel, Montenegro and Panama each.
The passengers, the crew and representatives of other services involved in the evacuation will be placed under a 14-day observation in a facility which has been kept secret.
