Russian forces are suffering considerable losses in human lives and equipment, the Ukrainian Prime Minister, Denys Shmygal, told in his evening statement. 

“Russian army and its leadership have been talking about how they will be throwing NATO forces in the English Channel in a week. Instead, their soldiers are abandoning the equipment and surrendering,” Shmygal says. There are fights in dozens of cities and hundreds of villages, and everywhere the enemy is meeting resistance from the military and the local people. In the agony of its defeat, Russia is resorting to even more criminal actions.”The Prime Minister also urged Ukrainians to resist on all fronts and help the military to fight back the occupier. Shmygal also said that there is already a decision of the UN Human Rights Council that there will be an investigative commission for the facts of crimes against civilians in Ukraine. “The investigation of the International Criminal Court about the war crimes in Ukraine is also beginning. This means that those responsible for the death of people, especially civilians, will be held accountable,” Shmygal stated. Let us remind that preliminary enemy losses are 9,166 people, 33 airplanes, and 37 helicopters.
