Ambulances carrying wounded servicemen were fired on by the Russian militaries in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
Two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed as a result of shelling. Another serviceman was wounded.
“According to the investigation, occupiers opened fire on two regular ambulances with a crew, which carried out evacuation measures near the settlements of Zlatoustivka-Khlibodarivka in the Donetsk region,” – the statement said.
Pre-trial investigation for violations of the laws and customs of war combined with intentional homicide (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is being conducted by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 38 children have been killed and 71 children have been wounded.
