The interns got married at the Kherson Regional Clinical Hospital on 10 March.
The first deputy chairman of the Kherson regional council, Yury Sobolevsky, reported it on Facebook.
"During this challenging time for the country, we must adapt to the circumstances around us.
According to the wartime laws, the wedding ceremony was conducted by hospital director Viktor Korolenko," Korolevsky wrote.
The newlyweds were presented with the flag of Ukraine.
"I am sure that after the war, the deputies of the regional council will not forget about this event and will be able to additionally please the newlyweds," Korolevsky added.
They promised the young family a separate apartment after the war, according to ICTV Facts.
According to the chairman of the Kherson regional council, Alexander Samoilenko, this is the first wedding in occupied Kherson since the beginning of the war.
Also, the marriage was registered in the bomb shelter of the village of Avangard (Odesa region) on 3 March.
The ceremony began at the Administrative Service Center but there were air raid sirens. Those present then moved to the bomb shelter, where the administrator of the Administrative Service Centre registered the marriage.
