On average, Russian occupants drop from 50 to 100 air bombs on Mariupol per day. As a result, according to preliminary estimates, about 80% of the city's housing stock is destroyed, of which almost 30% cannot be rebuilt.

This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Mariupol City Council.

"The situation in Mariupol is critical. The city has been under blockade for 16 days already, more than 350 thousand Mariupol residents continue to hide in cellars and basements from continuous shelling by Russian occupation troops. Yesterday, the Drama Theater and the Neptune swimming pool building have been destroyed as a result of a bombing. Hundreds of people, mostly women, children, and the elderly, were hiding from constant shelling in these places," - the report says.

About 6,500 cars were able to leave the city, some residents have already reached Zaporizhzhya, the city council said. A total of about 30 thousand people left Mariupol on their own transport.

On March 17, the General Staff has reported that the occupiers continue their assault on Mariupol and have partial success in Rubizhne.
