Oleksandr Kamyshin, Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia, thanked the honest Belarusian railwaymen that there are no more railway connections between Belarus and Ukraine.
Kamyshin said this on the air of "Nastoyaschee Vremya" channel.
"I have recently appealed to Belarusian railroad workers disregard criminal orders and not to transfer Russian military echelons toward Ukraine. Today, I can say that there is no railway connection between Ukraine and Belarus. I won't specify the details, but I'm grateful to the Belarusian railroad workers for what they do," - he said.
The chairman of the board Ukrzaliznytsia refused to specify from what date there is no railway connection but confirmed that the railroad tracks are in bad condition.
"I believe that there are honest people left among the Belarusians, especially among the Belarusian railroad workers. I wouldn't want to set them up. I'm grateful for what's happening now among Belarusian railroad workers," - Kamyshin added.

Earlier, the Belarusian opposition media has reported that since March 19, the railroad tracks in the south of the country (in Homyel and Brest regions) would be guarded by special forces of internal troops. Patrolmen will walk around in civilian clothes with weapons and radio with GPS trackers. Accommodation is planned in tents near the railway infrastructure.
This news is related to the danger of sabotage on the railroad, which is occasionally organized by citizens of Belarus after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
