This will include means of detection and disinfection
The NATO will help protect Ukraine from nuclear, biological, chemical and radiological threats. Cybersecurity assistance will also be provided, informs Interfax-Ukraine, citing Alliance Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.
“Today we agreed to do more, including providing cybersecurity assistance and equipment to protect Ukraine from biological, chemical, radiological and nuclear threats. This may include detection, protection and medical supplies, as well as disinfection training and crisis management”, Stoltenberg told at a news conference following an extraordinary summit of NATO heads of state and government in Brussels.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi also addressed the summit in an online format. He noted that Russia can go to Ukraine and other European countries in its war.
The head of state called for providing Ukraine with 1% of tanks and 1% of Alliance aircraft.
